DAY 8-WINDERMERE

I’ve done it again….this is 4th yesterday’s was the 3rd!!!! Honestly I wish you could edit the date it’s so frustrating.
Any how….we packed up and left just after 10. It took a bit than the last time but still up, breakfasted and packed in 70mins!!!
Besides a few photo stops we left Shropshire…passed through Cheshire and Lancashire to here#.
We stop for lunch and a short stroll…would have loved to stay longer but then headed onto our next stop in the North Penines. We literally had sun, rain, rainbows, sun, sleet, snow and sunshine!!!!!
We arrived at the Cottage and are a bit shocked at how isolated it is. More than that disappointed at the level (or not ) of cleanliness. Can’t begin to tell you all of it but … smelly fridge, dirty cooker and then 1 of the beds!!!! Well after a big complaint and a £100 refund we spent this evening cleaning. Hoping we’ll feel better after a good nights sleep but can honestly say I felt very tearful!!!!!!!
