The water was bitterly cold this morning at 8 for our swim, but we were rewarded with a spectacular sunrise.

I have done some housework and had tasty lunch.

The sun shone this afternoon and cast reflections on this painting and I entered a reverie. I thought of owning a little houseen by the sea. Ah well one can dream

Creating a taster ( short summary of the film you want to direct/produce which you make to present to film board, financiers or partnership with production company in another jurisdiction to get support from those sources)

Here is one of the tasters we watched in class about Eugene Peterson which was made by a film maker who wanted to produce a feature length film on this man

We have to submit an assignment of a taster based on our interview film and have to show why we chose the shots etc. This is not as easy as it sounds as you want to capture the essence of your subject without giving all the good bits away. This assignment is an important component in getting good marks for our documentary film.

I hope you are having as nice a Sunday as I am. It’s very cold outside though and I have the fire lighting burning the last crumbs of the Christmas turf.
