Lots of weather

What a lot of weather we have witnessed today. Never mind four seasons in one day, here it's four seasons in one hour! It has ranged from blinding sunshine to snow, with rain and sleet in between. The one thing that is constant is the very cold and fierce wind, which is also responsible for the very changeable weather.

I took my blip of the shoreline (plus highland cow extra) when we dashed outside for a short walk down to the sea between the showers this morning. We made a second sortie this afternoon, this time in the car to see the Kirkton Chapel and gravestones, and to drive to the end of the road and peer over to Jura. There were lots of lovely rainbows along the route, but our attempts to photograph them from the car failed.

I am doing rather badly on the Scrabble front, but hope to find my form again before we leave the hotel tomorrow morning.

Exercise today: none.
