I see you

A fairly uneventful day really.  I'd hoped to find something small of the insect variety, but the blowy conditions today mitigated against that.  In the end I've settled for this portrait of a jackdaw.  He's clearly spotted me, and is just trying to decide whether or not I'm a threat, before he carries on foraging for food.   He looks like a judge, with that unblinking stare, distinguished grey whiskers and eyebrows.
