I had a couple of unnecessary spanners thrown into the mix at work today, nothing unmanageable but it took a bit of time I wasn't planning on spending on something.  I did get a chance to say a proper welcome to one of the people I interviewed before Christmas, which was a nice surprise. They came to find me, which was even better.

Was it me who made good impression or were they trying to? Who knows.

No. 1 graced us with their presence for tea. They wanted to spend some time with himself going over a job application. Let's hope it's successful.
