Oh dear it's broke?

A motorcycle ride this morning whilst it was dry with the rain coming after lunch so headed home to find my car missing and B's 20 year old car in the garage I came across a note saying It won't come out of park.
I headed back to the garage with keys to find a display of BAS/EPS so back to the book and Internet to find that the fault was probably the brake light switch.
I was able to use the car as there's a trick to getting it into gear so headed to the dealer not expecting them to have one and came away with the switch of $42.46 which I thought was a bargain.
Fitted the switch swapped cars and walked K.
If anyone is in need of rain we have plenty to spare!
