A loft with a view

Our neighbour's loft is well ventilated with this unglazed brick-sized window, and the jackdaws have been using it for several years.  Today they were bringing in twigs, and curiously,  removing them too.  It's more roomy in there than their near neighbours' space in a chimney.  Perhaps this year I will get a photo of the chicks at the window.

A better weather day today with lots of blue sky, and I managed to get some gardening done.
