Uncover

A few days creeping above freezing has seen most of the snow on land dissipate, though the lake remains frozen, as is the ground. In the margin, things that were buried are now revealed, creating new shapes.

Where is the weight in this image? The rock is heavy, yet the white shape seems to balance it out. Funny though, my eye bounces between the patches of pebbles. Then again, the snow has the shape of a thumb and forefinger side on, cradling the rock.
