Vermilion Lakes

Mitch and I taught a four hour group lesson with fifteen people today. We started at the Banff Springs Hotel, talked for a bit at the Million Dollar View and Spanish Walk then moved on to Vermilion Lakes and Lake Minnewanka. In this photo I am demonstrating how a low aperture can make for an interesting photo, with something in the foreground in focus and the mountain out of focus. This was the largest and longest lesson I have ever done, but I have done a few three hour lessons and a few with more than 10 people. It went well and we will really be getting into lessons this summer.
