Courtyard Planters

Elaine came over and we walked up to get the train as we planned to get off at Shipley and walk along the canal to Saltaire.
Found out that our planned train was cancelled due to driver shortage so we walked back into the village and got a bus to Otley.
The little market town is certainly going against current trends and staging a bit of a revival.
New little independent shops are opening and we earmarked two new places we want to return to for lunch.
We shared a toasted cheese sandwich from Sift and had some vegan cakes : pistachio with lemon and cherry with almond, both vegan.
Called into the courtyard at Otley planters and resisted buying a new to me hellebore: creamy yellow with a red veined centre but did get a photograph.
Home earlier than usual, it was quite cold out.
Rebecca is calling soon , will be leaving Ronnie for a couple of hours while she takes Verity to NB in Leeds then is giving blood in the village hall at the end of my street.
