Crepuscular Rays

Crepuscular Rays
We went hillwalking today to Glen Artney to go up some Donalds, one of which was a Marilyn. The forecast had been for clear skies and sunshine, but the weather hadn’t been told. Most of the first hill we spent in the mist and there was much more snow on the ground than it looked from the glen. We were regularly up to our knees and progress was slow. The second hill we did see the view but the sun never came out. The blip is a view of the magnificent peat hags where the snow had drifted around into wonderful patterns with crepuscular rays in the lowlands.

Best on black.

Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is a snowy fence.
