Super Bowl Sunday, Let’s Party

Cloudy with occasional non-accumulating snow. High of 38 deg F and projected low of 25 deg F. Our first event wasn’t until 10:30 so we slept in and had a late breakfast. We picked up Parker and found out Mancil’s basketball game was cancelled when we were almost there. There was no snow yet so that was a silly decision. My cousin brought my mother to meet us; she was joining us to watch the game. I spent the day leisurely making our prime rib dinner. Jamie also donated some smoked BBQ pork. My sister and BIL came over, brought part of our meal and watched the game. We enjoyed Momma’s pound cake, our auction cake, fruit and ice cream for half time dessert. I believe our guests enjoyed themselves although we weren’t sure about the half time show. Could not understand the lyrics; showing our age.
