Someone was pleased to see us when we walked through the door after a frustrating car journey from London which included the usual holdups , roadworks and incidents.
We have had a lovely weekend, enjoying the warm hospitality of our friend Christine who kept us well fed and well entertained from the moment we arrived until the moment we left . While we were together we planned our next trip , camping in Norfolk in July . Another nice event to look forward to .
We feel very grateful despite the fact that our boiler seems to have developed a fault so that , apart from Brambles pitch by the fire , the house is rather chilly .
