Boy Racers

Arthur decided he wanted to play with a toy that I had put in the loft because he seemed to have lost interest. While up there he spotted the final railway track set that our friends P and P gave us about 7 months ago . I spent some time starting to build it but then handed over the job so that I could eat some cake .
Well , I was peckish !
Earlier in the day we met up with those very friends , P and P, for a walk along the beach and then ate chip butties with them for lunch .
Arthur rode his bike on the prom and then the beach until he noticed that the miniature train track at St Anne’s had an actual mini train on it . His day was made !
The chap who was getting the train ready was really friendly and happy to chat to our small boy . He asked Arthur what his name was and A explained that he was in fact a baby dolphin !
Feeling tired now but we have just paid a deposit for a camping trip in July with our Uni friends and solved our daily wordle puzzle . We both look forward to it , what a great idea .

P.S Thank you for your kind comments about the boiler , it has started working again which buys us a bit of time to get hold of the plumber . The house seems very cold though , I’m wearing my down coat and have a hot water bottle !
