We reach our destination...

We left our Southampton hotel at a leisurely 11am to make our way to the port to catch our ferry at midday.  Having arrived in the Isle of Wight at around 1pm,  we had rather a long wait until our lodges were ready at 5pm and no, they really weren't ready until 5pm which meant that by the time we went to our lodges, carefully positioned quite a distance apart from each other, dusk was falling.  See extras.  While we were waiting for our keys, I took several phone pics of the view across the Solent where you can just see the Spinnaker Tower and the little girl to the left is Violet out exploring.  We also learned the the site bar and restaurant will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday...happy days!
