I'm pretty good at what I do.

I don't do the bollocksy "Yes I have a vision for IT" nonsense - complete with 300 page PowerPoint presentation.  I have the "you've got a problem, let's solve it" approach.

And I kicked ass today.

People laughed.  Because I am good at what I do.
