Awake since 5am thanks to Storm Dudley, though the wind eased a little in the morning, before gales returned this afternoon, gusting up to 50mph, continuing this evening and through the night. The weatherman has just told us that Storm Dudley is nothing compared to what we can expect on Friday when Storm Eunice hits us, with an Amber Weather Warning for winds up to 80mph!
 
Contacted Apple this afternoon re my ipad. After two hours chatting online to support advisers, and then a one and a half hour phone call with a senior adviser, I’m no further forward. I have to call them again tomorrow. Sigh…
