Lunch before the Tate

Today we started our first Projects in Fine Arts. The idea is that by the end of tomorrow we know which subject we went to explore within the subject of Fine Art:
-Painting
-Sculpture
-Moving Image
-Contextual Practice
-Design for Performance

all with the theme of Kafka´s Metamorphosis. I think I want to do Painting but Contextual Practice sounds really good too, this is more about exploring your ideas without choosing a medium like paint or sculpting. It is about the process and train of thought and how you eventually chose your media. It sounds like something that is useful for almost anything, just to get your idea out of your head and on the paper.

This picture was taken next to St.Pauls
from the girl with the blue sweater clockwise; Jessica she´s from Surrey, South London. Aline from Germany, Marcus from Trinidad, Hana from Hong Kong, Katja from Denmark, Mr.Smith from Germany as well and Matheus from Poland. We were all having lunch before we went to the Tate to check out some pieces that would ´inspire´ us for our Metamorphosis project.

p.s: If you ever go to the Tate check out Christian Marclays `Video Quartet` I love it, I´ve allready seen it 3 times but I just can´t get enough of it.
