Waterloo Sunset

After spending 4 hours in the National Gallery and seeing everything from Picasso to Rubens I walked back home. But this time I took the other side of the river so I could see Waterloo and Blackfriars Brigde. I don't know why but I was in ecstasy while playing "Waterloo Station" by The Kinks and looking at the sun setting in the Thames.. maybe It's just because I am living in London right now could it be that simple?

Dirty old river, must you keep rolling
Flowing into the night
People so busy, makes me feel dizzy
Taxi light shines so bright
But I dont need no friends
As long as I gaze on waterloo sunset
I am in paradise
