My celebratory drink - Happy anniversary to me - 25 years today working for the Local Authority x

Remembering starting as the clerk at one of the local authority homes, working part-time to fit in with the children’s school day.

Moving on to a reviewing officer role - bit scary as that was a fixed term post.

Then I transferred to being an OT assistant, low level equipment provided to those in need in the borough.

Eventually went into a social care post, completed my training (funded by the LA) through the Open University and then qualifying as a social worker.

What lovely memories I have. Raising my glass of G&T to celebrate.

Back to work tomorrow :)
