Weeping beech

My second favourite tree in the garden, a close second to the silver birch. It was a day of many different weathers with some cloudless skies and heavy showers, but not too much wind, thankfully: we have a day off wind after yesterday and before tomorrow.

Last day at work for two weeks and it looked as if it was going to be an easy departure, but that got scuppered by something in the post. Never mind, this is the last time I go on holiday from the job. 

I've got an extra of Alfie looking very benevolent.
