After Eunice

It was a bit of a noisy night although the peak of the storm came through around 9 o'clock this morning. I gather a wind speed of 120mph was recorded on the Isle of White. We're fortunate enough to be sheltered from the worst of it here although we're always concerned about a large tree in our neighbours garden which stands between us and the prevailing wind. These chairs were moved about three feet along our deck so I think we got away with that!

The worst of it had passed through by midday so I let Cato out. He was a bit frustrated at being confined this morning but I did fear he might catch a gust and end up in Dorset.
