Life through the lens...

Staying inside.

I bought some primulas a couple of days ago to plant out in pots, and in the window pots, but decided to bring them inside until the storms were over. So they are now on the kitchen worktop in front of the window.
Certainly brighten up the kitchen. Wouldn’t mind keeping them there, but unfortunately I only have a small kitchen and they take up too much room.

After a quiet morning the wind picked up mid afternoon. Our fence was certainly rocking. Probably kept up by all the plants that are climbing up it.
We have had to tie the gate up as it won’t stay shut.
After 27 years we are having it replaced next month. Hopefully will last that long.

We had a lovely visit from our youngest granddaughter, Jennie and boyfriend Jo.
They are up for a couple of days, pre 21st Birthday which is next week when she is at uni.
Had a lot to catchup as we haven’t seen her since before Christmas when she and Hannah came to help put the tree up.
Nearly forgot to give her the presents and card.
We now have all grandchildren over 21.
Where have all those years gone as I don’t feel that much older. Only when I look in the mirror! Ha, ha!

I hope you are all safe and haven’t had any damage.
Some places seem to have been more affected than others. We have been lucky.

So take care and stay safe. I think we are in for snow tomorrow.
Enjoy the weekend.
