Osowiec

I visited Biebrza National Park with K and T who were visiting from Gdansk. The waters of the flood plain are high at the moment but have mostly melted. We were hoping to see more birds and, at least, the geese did not disappoint us. It was a little chilly and we adjourned to a restaurant in  Goniądz where the view of the submerged farmland was also quite splendid.

Here you can see the reeds and sedge with the brilliant red of logwood.

I'd like to come back here to see the ruffs later in the spring.
