I was reminded that there was probably a flower Friday Challenge today. Given the horrendous weather conditions caused by Storm Eunice staying indoors was the only option.

I gathered a few cut daffodil flowers and other plants I’m growing on the dining room table and hoped for the best in the rather poor light.

At least it is a colourful assembly and gives a sense of springtime. The days are certainly lengthening.

Later this evening I heard about the exploits of some videomakers going viral via national TV news.

Jerry Dyer started Big Jet TV some time ago and today the wider world couldn’t resist joining him on his Youtube channel as he streamed live film of commercial planes trying to land at Heathrow Airport. I was fascinated. The first minute of this link on The Guardian’s website give you a good idea of what is to come and an indication of the character behind it. (You can view it directly on Youtbe but that seems to be afflicted with long ads) He ends up in front of his camera quite often. There are no crashes you’ll be pleased to hear, but there are amazing flying skills on show.
