Waiting for birds and the squirrel

Up at my sister’s in Shrewsbury for a visit with her and her partner. The garden looks out on a brook and lots of birds and squirrels visit. But not today when it was sleeting and 3deg!
My ex b-I-l popped round to pick up some papers. So lovely to see him again and happy with his new partner.
Then after he’d gone, the three of us had a lovely lunch and catch up . A much better drive home.
