New carpet

A quiet day completing a number of small tasks. Late in the afternoon, S and I managed to get most of the furniture out of our bedroom, so that I could put down a large carpet; with her help. The carpet is the right length and 5 - 10 cm too wide. However, a little ingenuity achieved what we wanted. 

Also, we had bought an 'entertainment console' to replace a tallboy that had to be a long way into the room because of the steep pitch of the A-Frame roof. That can be seen in the blip, with the very necessary fan to assist in cooling.

After a rest and a cold drink, I had a short jog, on which I was able to get a photo of a song thrush. That is my extra for today.
