The Lozarithm Lens

Flower Friday (Friday 18th February 2022)

The worst of Storm Eunice here seemed to be on Thursday afternoon, when I could feel the floorboards reverberating. I seem to have escaped any damage or power cuts however, but I fully expected my medical centre appointment on Friday morning to be cancelled, either because it wasn't safe for me to get there or because the nurse couldn't make it.

On the morning all seemed mild in the town and I had no problems getting there or seeing the nurse, a new one, for a routine diabetic blood test. I was also finally given the results of a prostate blood test from last July. I'd been promised I would be notified but when I wasn't I'd had to assume it had come back as clear - this was confirmed.

After a quick grocery shop up the road at the big Tesco I returned home for the rest of the day. These first dwarf narcissii flowers of the year chose the worst possible weather to make their overground debut into the world.

Thanks to BikerBear for Flower Friday.
