This Mandarin duck is believed to have escaped from custody from a farm in Porters Lake. He has become quite the celebrity since he was first spotted last fall at one of the local lakes. He has become quite taken with one of the female mallards, and despite his smaller size, he will chase off any of the male mallards that try to come near her. Manny, as he has become known to many can be found at any one of several duck ponds in the neighborhood.
