The Pepper Patch

Camera in Hand

The hand of a man who grew up on a farm and threw bales of hay around with ease then worked on a construction crew to pay for college. Later that hardscrabble New England farmboy would use that hand to caress the cheek of his beloved and wipe away the tears of a girl on her way to her first day at school. Now the little girl is all grown with kids of her own and days of baling hay are long gone but he stills reaches out to caress the cheek of his beloved and has been known to use both a camera and a fly rod with some measure of skill ... and the adventures  (and the memories) continue.

*the hand and the camera it's holding are roughly the same age  (post-war Zeiss Contaflex - see extra). Pretty when on display in my small vintage camera collection but more fun when I'm out and about "camera in hand"
