Dichty in full flow

A lovely sunny day

Went out for a 2.3 mile walk on my own to post a letter and go down by the Dichty. It has been several months since I walked along this waterway. Being winter, it is much more open on the banks. In the distance you can see two windbines which had belonged to the very large Michelin Tyre plant which has unfortunately closed. The windbines are still generating electricity for the few new innovative startups on the site.

My wife is off down south to Essex tomorrow for a week to visit family and friends. Hopefully I be will be able to feed myself and won’t fade away!
