Buzzing

After my morning duties as a nurse for the Munni-cat (who is doing well and has apparently been accepted again by the other two), I went shopping for my mother and drove to her house for lunch and a couple of hours of gardening.

It was a lovely day. My mother sat in the sunshine, wrapped up warm and drinking coffee, while her carer and I worked - collecting fallen branches and pruning overgrown shrubs.

There are literally hundreds of crocuses in my mother’s lawn, buzzing with busy bees. Although it never got warmer than 9 degrees C, this day felt very much like spring.
