Metro

It's another gaming weekend but this time we've been playing some 'old school' games (no, not 'opolies - there are limits!) where the rules and pieces are simpler but the challenge no less so.

This is Metropolys. (2008).  Everyone has a set of buildings numbered 1 to 13, and a different set of targets; occupy red areas, areas around lakes, etc. You 'bid' with the buildings so there's a lot of the tension that comes with auctions plus a degree of limiting the bidding by the developing physical constraints of the city.
