My next door neighbour is having a kitchen refit and knocking down an internal wall, plus relocating a boiler - our back doors face each other on side walls of the two houses and even though there’s a fence between us and my door’s been shut it’s been a tad noisy. It will be interesting to see the results as her kitchen/utility room arrangement is ( or was ) a mirror image of mine ;-)
