Grace and Beauty In Flight

We usually see White Ibises in groups or 'congregations' of six or more individuals walking around on people's lawns. They are always on the hunt for insects, worms or other tasty little creatures they might find. This morning Fletcher and I were pleasantly surprised by a couple of them flying toward and just above us. By the time I managed to get my camera up to take some shots, they were directly overhead. Today's photo shows how really beautiful these birds are. We see their black wing tips only when they're in flight!
