2 legged tripod

Today went out with Glasgow local group to the new RSPB reserve at Gartocharn which will be called Loch Lomond Reserve. We were met by the new reserve manager who came round with us.

We saw a wide variety of birds. There were several highlights. We saw a Northern Diver, little Grebe, great Crested Grebe and Shelduck along with other water birds. We saw 2 tree creepers really close so busy feeding on the insects on the branches they paid no attention to us. We also saw Reed Bunting, Meadow Pipit, Skylark and a snipe flying. We saw 3 raptors - kestrel, Buzzard and an Osprey. We also heard a Chiffchaff, an early migrant. This is only a selection of what we saw.

A good day of birds and a 10km walk as well. It was a dull day so not good for photos but liked this scope and tripod which was sitting in front of me as we stopped to have our picnic lunch, even though it looks like a two legged one.
