Shadows

Volunteering at the reserve again today. At last some things to do in the garden. There is evidence of growth starting again after the cold. I see rain is forecast for later in the week and we need it. We have had no snow or rain for weeks so the plants will appreciate it even if we humans won't.

Busy with lots of people today but no unusual birds. A text from a cycling friend of mine said he was sure he had seen a black swan. Today asked at the reserve and there has been one seen several times on the River Clyde. In flight with its white underwings it is a beautiful bird.
