Scaffolding removal

Work is now progressing on removing the damaged scaffolding from the block of flats. It is a delicate and hazardous task. 

There is a large crane on the main road ready to lift the scaffolding away, and a guy on an elevating platform who seems to be partly guiding the operation, and partly helping to untangle the scaffolding poles from each other so that they can be lifted.  There are also a couple of guys on the rooftop, occasionally clambering over the poles to cut or free sections (rather them than me:  I'm sure that a simple careless maneouvre could bring the whole lot crashing down).

The High Street remains closed for the crane, the massive skip, and a space inititally to put the damaged poles.
