We had an early start this morning in order to catch our 6.30am flight to Alicante, where we collected the hire car and then found our way to Benidorm. The hotel seems fine, but we've yet to eat dinner so let's wait and see.

We unpacked and had a wander down to the seafront, stopping to have a bocadillo and a massive, most welcome pot of tea before exploring some of the old town and the castle.

We're going to wait and see what the weather's doing tomorrow before deciding what to do.
