All Change

It has grown so large that the Amaryllis Dancing Queen had to  be given more space to expand so is now in the hall. It is supported by a length of twine to the mirror that came from our old church's ministers' vestry and thus had a convenient rail along the bottom. There are four enormous blooms on one head and presumably another four to come from the second bud.

Meanwhile the red Amaryllis has been relocated from the utility room to its old home on the newly vacated font (also from our old church - it's amazing what was sold off when we vacated the building) which we use as a plant stand. It is at the stage of showing colour and will surely make another blip before long. Thanks to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday.

We had the pleasure of young Flums' company for tea so for the extra we have the Flumlet encouraged to break from demonstrating Minecraft to his Grandad, watched by B, to give me a smile for the photo. Cheeky boy! We also measured him, now he's 4ft 3½in / 132cms tall but still huggable.
