Relief

An anxious day as events unfolded over the horizon. I keep my Twitter scanning radius very tightly controlled, to avoid the noxious specimens that inhabit it. But it's given illuminating access to journalists and broadcasters in Kyiv, to commentary from leading politicians in the Baltic states, and to eyewitness accounts of extraordinary happenings.

In the end I moved several barrow loads of earth across the garden because I needed some activity, then sought refuge in the woods again.
