Undecapitated

Last week I cursed as I knocked this pottery duck off the mantlepiece breaking it into three pieces with clean-ish breaks.  

The beak reattachment needs a bit more work but I'm quite pleased with how the rebuild and touching in of the next break has gone.

We had our 'works' Christmas do this evening - we have a local 'consortium' of B&B owners which is valuable for sharing tips, legislation changes, and finding accommodation for guests when we're full.  

It was good to get almost all of us together at the local independent Italian restaurant tonight.  Didn't have a good view for a picture, but the extra is one of the Priory church as we went for a leg stretch beforehand.
