Red Kite

I grabbed this shot of a red kite flying overhead while I was out on my walk this morning. I think the light shining from above really shows off the colours of the feathers on the wings and has created a ‘rim light’ effect around the wings and body. The head has also highlighted nicely.

In the garden this afternoon (chasing the bl**dy rat) and I could hear lambs bleating from the field behind the house….so I am already thinking about tomorrow’s blip!!

The bait in the ‘poison box’ hasn’t been touched again…so I have upped the ante and ordered some boxes with snap traps in - this is war now. The only potential downside of these is disposal of any bodies….
