Stormy

February is one of the warmest as well as wettest months in Johannesburg. The weather has been alternating between sunny and stormy. The view from my current hotel room is across some school playing fields, which have either been baked in bright sunlight or washed out by downpours. The city is known for its thunderstorms and lightning, apparently made more dramatic by the high altitude.
