End of the day

Warburton Toll Bridge.

Many many moons a go, almost in a different life, I worked not far from here and we'd cross the bridge to go to a pub in the middle of nowhere for lunch. A quarter of a decade ago the toll was 5p, today it was 12p. Seemed fair, but my brain still thinks it should be 5p.

Which, in an admittedly obtuse way, leads me to day two of the course. The participant who struggled the most was the only one who'd done first aid before, years before and in a different environment. Sometimes it's hard to let go of the past, to accept what we discover has changed.
But.
Everyone passed.
Another step closer to them being able to take youngsters out, excellent.
