Just in time

A lazy Sunday, and a beautiful day. We decided late on, a little too late really, to stretch our legs and get some fresh air. It was almost 4.30pm when we set off to walk round the side of Humbleton Hill and over to St Cuthbert's Way and down to Wooler Common. I was quite relieved to reach the tarmacked track while there was still some light in the sky. No need to use my head torch, though I'd packed it just in case!
