Great Cannon Bank

Named as the landing place for several large artillery pieces, brought by an English force attempting to oust the French from Leith in 1560. After the Siege of Leith, which failed to capture the port, the French left anyway under the terms of the Treaty of Edinburgh. Today, I just liked the shape of the tree branches as I walked home from the supermarket.
