Resilience

This little pine is growing at the edge of my field.  I've watched its progress the last couple of years.  Normally, heavy snows will bend these little guys but this one is standing tall and straight.  It reminded me of the courage and determination of the Ukrainian people and President Zelensky.  So, I added a tiny Ukrainian flag and planted a proud sunflower at its base.  No one knows what will happen but I have great faith in the Ukrainian people.  May they stand tall and proud in the face of this horrific aggression.  The world is standing with you.  (Extra)
