Cooped up

I'm stuck in the house at the moment with my head supposed to be buried in my dissertation so there isn't much opportunity for blipping other than what's round the house. I just took my camera out and start messing around with some stuff that was on my desk and eventually settled on this lens cap shot that I quite liked. I must also make mention of the supporting role, quite literally, played by the tape measure!

I messed around with this in Lightroom for a good 10 minutes before eventually deciding to export it with only the white balance changed. Shows you how we can become obsessed with editing after we've shot! I know I can be guilty of this.
