Johnston Gardens

As it was a nice sunny day I thought I would take a look at how things are getting on at Johnston Gardens. I expected to see some snowdrops, and maybe some crocuses. Instead I found several large trucks at the gate, and some smaller dumper trucks racing around inside the park.

It turned out much of the gardens was closed to public access. Some of the paths are being resurfaced. The area which was closed included the area where I would have found the crocuses, if they have come out yet.

I had a look for ducks, but they had wisely taken flight and gone somewhere a bit quieter. I decided to do the same.
